As of now they're working on their fifth studio album called Conventional Weapons, and it is said to be possibly released as early as the summer of 2013.
This is especially exciting because they have already pre-released two songs from the album and I like both of them! It is also exciting to see how different this album will be.
When Danger Days released in 2010, a lot of people got mad and upset because the bands' style had changed from a punk rock/emo scene to a more "deep" scene. The meaning of the lyrics hadn't changed, but the style they played them to had changed significantly. Personally, I loved Danger Days and I thought it was an awesome new change. Not only because Gerard (lead singer) had finally found his happy place while writing the new songs, but also because the songs had been imagined in a whole new way.
Overall, I'm extremely excited for the release of Conventional Weapons and I can't wait to hear how the sound style will change in the new songs they have.
